Installing 225's on a floor in one of our buildings.  They are installing aluminum ceiling panels (see attached).

What are the ramifications (if any), of mounting these above these panels?  Will we be looking at a degraded signal and if so, how badly does aluminum adversely affect a wireless environment?

    Thank you in advance.

Metal of any kind blocks or deflects RF signals.

Under no circumstances should the APs be above these panels.

    APs must be underneath.

Just to expand, if putting them APs below the ceiling is a problem, you might still be able to get away with using ap AP224 and getting just the antennas below the aluminum panels.  You still have to at least get them below, but it might be easier than a whole AP, blinking lights and all, depending on how concerned you are with aesthetics.
