On the data sheet for the aruba AP270 series it states Chassis Rating:IP66 and IP67.  It doesnt says anything about NEMA ratings.  Its my understanding IP67 means that at a minimum it must meet NEMA 6 standards, meaning it meets the requirements im looking for.  So is the Aruba AP-274 IP67 or IP66?  is the Aruba AP-274 Nema 4x or Nema 6?  or we can skip the codes and go to the point, can the Aruba AP-274 be termporaly submerged at a very limited depth and still maintain its integrity?  Thanks!

AP-27x are all IP66 and 67 (they are two different ratings). Should be safe to say NEMA4x (the X being for salt corrosion which we also test against).

The documentation is in the datasheet where the IP ratings are stated. That is all that should be needed. IP66 and IP67 is the equivalent to NEMA4/6, and since we use all stainless hardware, and do our own salt-corrosion testing, 4X should be quivalent as well.

    Hi Guys..

Not all the Aruba Access Points data sheets contains IP Rating.

Example : ARUBA 310 SERIES and ARUBA 330 SERIES datasheets doesn't shows the IP Rating.

More than 500 AP's installations are rejected by our client.

Can anyone help me on this. I need IP rating for

    AP-315 (JW797A) and AP-335 (JW801A)

This is very urgent and i am trying with all the resources (Including Sales Channel).

Have you ever deployed AP274 in a box under ground??

I don't know if any have been physically buried underground, but some customers have put 275 on the ground underneath enclosures/fake rocks, or inside landscape features. A 274 inside a box should be fine, and while it will work underwater, it's not recommended to be deployed that way long-term, so the box should be sealed to prevent water from filling up the box.
