AP-365 Density

Hi,

I am thinking of proposing AP-365 as replacement for AP-275, what is the density for AP-365 as compared to AP-275?

The AP-365 is not a replacement for the AP-275. The AP-275 is a higher powered AP with 3x3 11ac. The AP-365 is a lower cost, slightly lower powered unit that is 2x2 11ac. The range, capacity, etc of the 36x is expected to be approx 80% of what the 27x is. So if you still need max performance, rate v range, high user counts, etc, you should still use the 27x.

We don't currently yet have real world characterized data comparing the 275 and 365. But from internal engineering results, this is how it breaks down (assume generally 75-80% of the performance out of a 365 versus a 275 in client RvR tests). Max supported range depends on the client type, but generally 150-200m in clear line of sight and clean RF (obviously less in high noise/interference and/or with LoS issues). Note the dip at 50m on the 275 was due to natural waveform at 50m from the 275 at that distance, we would expet in other locations that the sped at 50m would be higher, it's just specific to that site/location and the test conditions.
