Hey,

 

My AP is connecting to the VRRP of my MC but its unable to connect. I can see this in the datapath session. But it isn't showing up in the AP database.

 

I get following error.

ERRS> |cluster_mgr|  cmlb_ap_handle_ap_down_request, No entry in active table in LB-AP thread for AP with mac

 

Any idea?

Maybe.a stupid question but is the AP in the whitelist? You are using CPSEC?

Yes CPSec is enabled and I use Enable auto cert provisioning for CAP.

Does the access point show up under "show ap database"?

 

If this is ArubaOS 8.x, the AP should be pointing at one of the MDs, NOT the MMs.

no, the AP isn't showing up in the AP database.

The AP is pointing to the VRRP of the VMC-cluster

SSH into the VRRP and type "show log system 50" to see if you can get a clue what is wrong.

Which version of code are you running?

Do any other AP’s connect to the VMC cluster?

Which model of AP?

Was this ever resolved? I have the same problem

I reset this ap to factory. No luck. So I just replace it with spare part.

I met this issue too. We installed about 100 Aps, but two AP couldn't be up. With the 'show log errorlog all | in XX.XX.XX.XX', I could find so many error logs.  Ap model is AP-335, and controller OS is 8.3.0.0.

Please upgrade to 8.3.0.4 as 8.3.0.0 is the first 8.3 release. Many issues have been resolved.

Is there any update on this? I have the same issue with 8.4.0.2.

In my case the issue was caused because the IP I had used for my VRRP instance was already in use elsewhere
