    Hi All

I am testing a controller in a separate Vlan from my corporate network. This network is a simple ADSL router with DHCP and DNS.

For somehow i get an IP address for the AP but it stucks then in ADP.

It seems that dns can´t resolve aruba-master.. I don´t have access to that router to point IP of the controller to the name :(

Can i resolve it by any other way ( like force AP to know that controller IP is 192.168.1.222

    Regards

If the Aruba Controller is on the same VLAN (192.168.1.222), the access point should be able to discover it, via broadcast.

You can force it by breaking into the apboot> prompt  on the access point and typing:

    setenv master 192.168.1.222

    setenv serverip 192.168.1.222

    save

    boot

Can stop the boot process of the AP and see if you can ping the controller? Or plug a laptop into that same port and try?
