    Hi!

I have WLAN which include 36xAP (18xAP93, 12xAP105, 3xAP104,3xAP135), Aruba MC 3400, and license for 36 AP. On provisioning list there is only 34 AP plus one RAP without one AP135 and AP93 (someone without my knwoledge add this RAP). I deleted RAP to make space for that 2 APs, in logs I can see some trying of AP135 to connect with virtual controller:

    Local events:

2014-08-14 10:22:06 User Authentication failed for user 9c:1c:12:c1:c2:bc userip 172.16.0.223 usermac 9c:1c:12:c1:c2:bc servername Internal serverip 172.16.0.254 bssid 00:00:00:00:00:00 apname N/A

    Process logs:

    Aug 14 10:33:57 localdb[1686]: <133006> <ERRS> |localdb| User 9c:1c:12:c1:c2:bc Failed Authentication
    Aug 14 10:33:57 authmgr[1668]: <522275> <ERRS> |authmgr| User Authentication failed. username=9c:1c:12:c1:c2:bc userip=172.16.0.223 usermac=9c:1c:12:c1:c2:bc servername=Internal serverip=172.16.0.254 apname=N/A bssid=00:00:00:00:00:00

but AP93 isn't even visible in logs, do you have any idea why I cannot provision that 2 APs? Thanks in advance!

Do you have Control plane security enabled? Try adding the MAC address of the AP into the whitelist.

I just disabled control plane security, add APs into whitelist, but there is no effect.

Yes, there are still don't show up in provisioning list. I can manage it only via remote access (webui).

you mean you can only manage the AP via their webui? then you got instant APs (IAPs) those won't show up on the controller until you convert them to normal APs. is that what you want?
