I know the AP225s come on and do AC by default when 1st activated (see this thread; http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Community-Expert-Day-1-17-14/802-11ac-configuration-options/td-p/133403) , but are there any recommendations the community would make to these settings for best practices or are you happy with how they behave out of the box?

Getting ready to roll out a handfull and wanted to see what everyone thought..

    Thanks!

The AP225 configuration will on how you have your RF/ARM and SSID profile settings under the AP-Group configured ( 20/40/ Mhz /80 Mhz/160 channels or VHT )

If the APs have no configuration they will attached to the default AP-Group so whatever is your configuration there that's what your AP will receive initially .

I've done a couple of deployments with 225 with ac left alone at default. Hit no issues in terms of this specifically. All legacy client support stuff seems good.

I'd recommend latest code use, as initial releases had a couple of reboot issues (225 APs rebooting for a few different reasons that is) we needed to fix. Seems good now on latest after working with TAC etc to get the bugs fixed.
