I am replacing an old Level One access point with an AP70 access point to bring it in line with company policy. The Level One access point has one N type connector but the AP70 has 2 external SP-RMA connectors. We use a 800 mobility controller at present.

I have bought an N type to RP-SMA adaptor cable but am unsure which of the 2 AP connectors to use. Any ideas anyone and will there be a negative impact on performance/range if only using one connection?

    Thanks in advance.

You can pick either one, but will lose the benfit of antenna diversity. I would not recommend using a single antenna.
