I am working with a customer who has a two controller deployment.   We have 6.1.3.4-AirGroup installed.   I can turn on AirGroup on the local controller successfully, but not the master.   I have attmpted repeatedly to run airgroup enable; but it continues to show disabled when running show airgroup status; any thoughts?   I am going to try and reboot the controller, but looking for an alternative if there may be one.

    (aruba-master) (config) #airgroup enable
    (aruba-master) (config) #exit
    (aruba-master) #show airgroup status

    AirGroup Feature
    ----------------
    Status
    ------
    Disabled

    AirGroup Enforce Registration
    -----------------------------
    Status
    ------
    Disabled

    AirGroup Service Information
    ----------------------------
    Service   Status
    -------   ------
    airplay   Enabled
    airprint  Enabled
    allowall  Enabled

I'm running the same code myself - and one odd thing that I've found with AirGroup is that without a 'write mem' AirGroup shows disabled after what seems like a couple minutes.

I have to enabled it again and write mem for it to stay on.

airgroup doesnt really work well in a master / local deployment though.

It seems to work just fine for me so far.  I do have overlapping VLANs between my master and local controllers - so I only have AirGroup turned on on one controller.

yeah if you stick to that approach it would be fine.

we have OS v.6.2.1.3 and there is no mention of "airgroup" here.

Controller is 3400 and I'd like to be able to use this feature. As seen from this post it was available in previous OS release, but omitted from the latest.

Any ideas what happened to airgroup feature in latest OS release?

AirGroup was a technology release in 6.1.x and not a part of the main release track. The latest code that supports AirGroup is 6.3.x
