    Hi

Should I turn off RAPIDS notifications on AIRWAVE if I am deploying Public WIFI in an outdoor enviroment?

There will be lots of other Access points but due to this being a public deployment. We will have no control over these devices and they may be in the same are but they will not be on the LAN infrstructure.

    Thanks

    Scott

You could possibly setup a rule that detects an SSID with a similar name being discovered and use wildcards to cover a few different variations.

If you are managing the switches in Airwave then you could also add a rule that if it is detected both on wired and wireless to trigger a classification.

That's totally up to you. You can modify the tirggers and RAPIDS rules to better match the environment, or disable if you want.
