Alert emails not working

I am no longer receiving alert emails from Airwave.  I have the triggers set correctly and the alerts are being generated, but I am not getting any emails.  Is there any other setting to check?  Does Airwave have it's own SMTP server for outbound mail?

I would look at System> Status> Postfix Mail Server log...

That was helpful.  It's timing out accessing the mail server.  Where do I go to change this setting?
