    Hi @ all,

    I´ve 2 Aruba 651 controller, a master and a backup.

On the backup controller are some alerts after I pushed the config on it:

    1.JPG

On the master controller I put in the cfgm set sync-type <complete> command.

Some user-role are pushed to the backup c. (I can see in on show run on the backup c.)

And it seems like some roles are not correctly syncing to the backup controller.

    How can I fix this?

Is it a why there are no licenses on the backup controller? but I´ve configured central licenses on it and it looks like it´s working.

    Thanks

Can you do a show license on the backup?

Are the licenses on the master built-in licenses? For example, if the model of the controller is 651-8, those are built in.

there are no licenses on the backup controller only the built in.

On the bachup controller centralized licenses tap under information I can see the masters licenses:

    show licenses on the master:

    show license on the backup:

It seems that you don't have PEF licenses on that controller, if you are using 6.3 you can take advantage of the Centralize Licensing to share the licenses across two controllers.

Looks like you have some connectivity issues. All of your heartbeats have been missed.

Ok, I see it. But what can I do to fix the problem?

the controller can ping each other on their IP Adresses!

Where do the controller sends the heardbeat? (what ip address?)

Do you have VRRP setup between the master and backup?

yes, I have, but I can´t give the license server the vrrp adress:

The vrrp adress is 192.168.25.100 and I put in the license server field the 192.168.25.101.

Must I configuring on both controlller a new vrrp adress for the license server?

If you have master redundancy enabled, you don’t need to use a license server IP on the backup.
