Android WiFi messaging issues

Looking for any insight as to why android wifi messaging wouldn't be working on Aruba Instant version 6.5.4.3.

user says it works on any consumer wifi but not on our campus... he's connected to an employee network, and everything else seems to work correctly.

My theory at this point is that AirGroup is somehow messing with it. research says that it uses Rich Communication Services (RCS) Protocol, but I've yet to find a service ID for it.

anybody seen this, or have help??

Thanks

Re: Android WiFi messaging issues

I don't see anything about Android Messages that would imply it's using mDNS type services for communicating between users. Do you have AirGroup enabled on your cluster? What user role do users get when authenticated/connected to the cluster?
