Anyone have a release date for AOS 6.1.5 and Airgroup???

    Looking for any info on a concrete release date for AirGroup - lots of talk but I can't find a release date anywhere.

    It seems there was a release on 10/10 that includes Airgroup but it's not 6.1.5.

    Yes - saw the release - we are updating the firmware next week.

    Fingers crossed this will be the holy grail we have been waiting for.

    OK - have updated  Firmare and have nice new entry in the menu called AirGroup - but so far have been unable to find anything on how to confugure other than a very brief whitepaper overview. Vendor is no help as it is all new to them as well.

    We are looking at a simple test setup without Clearpass at this stage - basically to prove that we can get it work with mDNS and broadcasts still turned off - anyone point me in the right direction?

     

    Couple of questions that have opped up though.

    We have an 802.1x SSID that Apple TV cannot join - so I assuming we still need to have a separate SSID for the Apple TV's and then firewall rules and policies in place to allow traffic between the 2 SSIDs?

    This is where a how to guide from Aruba would be good - both with clearpass and without.

    Thanks - have just received a document from Aruba Singapore Aruba Airgroup Deployment Guide.

     

    Will close this thread  - we have an issue on mirroring but will start a new thread for that.
