Hi Community

We have a small Wireless installation with only 2 IAP's (IAP-205).

One AP is in the ground and the other in the 1st floor. 

Exept the Apple Devices (tested with iPad and MacBook Pro Model A1502) all device roam as normal. 

The Apple Devices change the AP but lose the Network Connection. When you walk back to the other AP the Network Connection comes back. 

We tested different settings in the ARM settings. Also this tipps from this post:

Have you any ideas how we can solve this issue?

Thanks for your replay.

That's true, not both APs are trunked because on one IAP it's not an managed switch.

Could it be that only Apple device have this issue?

Because if it's an general error other device should have the same issue as well.

I found that nowhere in the docu or user guide.

Do you mean, trunking is for dynamic vlan assigment required?

Every VLAN on an SSID needs to be trunked to each Instant AP, except for Virtual-Controller based VLANS;  Virtual Controller based VLANs only exist in the cluster and are natted out of the Virtual Controller.  All other VLANs must be trunked to all IAPs...  That is the architecture..
