Our school campus has a 3400 controller. SSID 'X' is on  Vlan '10'  and the class computers is on VLAN "20" . We have blocked access to Vlan 20 from vlan 10 through access control policies. Now when an Ipad on ssid X (vlan 10) search for a mirroring device it is able to see the devices in Vlan 20 but is not able to mirror to it. Iam sure this is because of the policies we set up on the controller. Can we allow only mirroring between these Vlans? When I checked online  the ports used by airplay are TCP 7000,TCP 7100,TCP 5000,UDP 6010-6012 . Is there any option so that I can allow those ports to be opened and keep the current restriction in place. Ultimately we need the airplay to work .Thanks.

Instead of blocking access to the devices, why not just restrict th mDNS advertisements by user role? Then they won't see the device in their list.
