    Hello ,

    We have 7010 Controller and 9 AP 205 . We have a problem about 4 APs. These 4 AP can register to controller but they takes flag “ ID “ and after 30 minutes they return to normal work system. In this 30 minutes , we can’t any configuration on theese APs. We can’t publish any SSID by them.

    When we reboot them , this stuation repeat again for other 30 minutes. We have problem just 4 APs.

    Fort he solition ;

    • We upgraded 7010 Controller ArubaOS version from 6.4.3.7 to 6.4.4.9
    • We changed the cable with switches between  APs. Problem is still there.
    • We also tried the broken APs with normal AP’s cable. Problem is still there.
    • We got 4 new AP from Aruba distributor. We replaced broken 4  Aps with new Aps . After these changes , we still have observed same problem on some new APs.

    Thanks,

    Ilkay

    Where are these 4 APS in your network?  Are they behind a firewall or across an MPLS?

    9 APs are same location. But we saw just  4 APs this problem.

    We have MPLS between controller and APS .

    Okay.  You probably need to reduce your MTU for that AP-Group

     Go to configuration> Wireless AP configuration.  Click on the AP group that those access points are in.

    Expand AP, then click on AP System.  In the right pane the SAP MTU might be blank.  Change it to 1300, click on Apply and Save configuration.  See if that makes the problem go away.

    Is there just MPLS?  Is there a firewall, as well?

    Do the APs recover or they always have the ID?

    This 4 AP got ID flag for 30 minutes (avarage) after every reboot. In 9 APs , we see this problem just 4 same AP .

    We are using 2 difference switch for 9 ap ;

    First sw : 2 Ap here and 1 ap normal working, 1 broken ap.

    Second sw : 7 Ap here. 4 normal working , 3 broken ap.
