Aruba Controller Failover Time

    I have reviewed the performance report on failover here (http://arubanetworks.com/pdf/technology/TR_HABenchmark.pdf) and had a few questions.

    1. What is the actual failover for the end application? The report only mentions time for the AP to failover, not the client and application as well.

    2. Is there any way in decrease failover time further than 10 seconds? Can the VRRP timers be adjusted downward?

    just my guess, but seeing how the applications / client all stay connected you would assume the can just continue once the APs are done.

     

    as for 2, it probably is more then just VRRP, APs have to rebootstrap i guess?
