ArubaOS 6.4 With serie3000 and serie 600 Controllers.

    Hi,

    i know that the version 6.4 was designed for the new controllers (serie 72xx and serie 70xx), and i know that it works with the old controllers (series 3000 and series 600) , which functionality are disabled in the old controller series.

    The following summarizes fetures that are lost in 6.3 and 6.4 on the 600 series and 3000/M3 series controllers.  

     

    • 600 Series
      • AppRF Control (6.4)
      • AppRF Visibility (6.3)
      • AP Fast Failover (6.3)
      • Client State Sync (6.4)
      • Oversubscription for AP Standby (6.4)
      • AirGroup UPNP (6.4)
      • AirGroup BonJour (6.3)
      • AP Image Preload
      • Centralized Controller Image Upgrade
    • 3200/3400 Series
      • AppRF Control (6.4)
      • Client State Sync (6.4)
      • Oversubscription for AP Standby (6.4)
      • AP Image Preload
    • 3600/M3 Series
      • AppRF Control (6.4)

     In a mixed environment, the features are supported on other controllers, they just won't work on these models.
