Is there an updated document of the ArubaOS Software Feature Matrix? The version I have is over 2 years old and I haven't got a clue where to get a newer version. Or even if a newer version exists.

The seemingly (the docs mention no dates) up-to-date "matrix" docs I did find:

uh? The software feature matrix I know shows what version a feature was introduced and what if any license is required for it.

Nothing like the behaviour and defaults chapter you reference?

There is no publicly-facing OS feature matrix.  You can certainly request that such a document be made in the Ideas Portal on the Support Website so that we can understand the need for it.  For now, the only thing we can provide is what is supported in individual versions of code.

Thanks so much for finding this!

For some reason, this is gone now, although there is one in the top folder for the Instant Software.

I'd like to get the latest copy with all the 6.4 features added and the new models of APs shown.

while talking about software feature matrix , regarding AP matrix, where to quickly find information how long older AP's are supported on recent ArubaOS versions ?

e.g. in releasenotes AP65 is mentioned to be last supported in ArubaOS 6.3 , but not in 6.4  . what about AP125 ?

there only latest APs are mentioned "by design". is search the "complete" matrix to quickly identify upgrade/migration paths

so AP125 is last supported in OS 6.4 , that's fine for the moment.

I can't find the file either. Could you get it?

it's not a file , it's just a table-matrix where you can find information until which ArubaOS version an AP is supported , e.g. in my case AP125 i wanted to know which will be the latest ArubaOS version to support this AP125 , and then you open the above matrix link and you see "last supported ArubaOS version" in my case ArubaOS 6.4.

Actually, this certainly is (was?) a (.xls) file.

I've attached the file that was available for download from the support site. This file is a year old so doesn't include the newest OS'es and I'm not sure whether it has been replaced with anything so take this 'as is'.

Rename the .txt to .xls to get a working file.
