Hi,

Aruba 7010 WLC (ArubaOS 6.5.4.3, Build No: 61595)

we are planning to limit bandwidth based on SSID.

we have two SSID (SSID--1 for office with psk, SSID-02 for Open internet access).

we need to limit the maximum upload (10Mbps) & Download (25 Mbps) for SSID-02, how can we achieve this.

Hey, you can complete this based on the User Role or VLAN.

hi zalion0, we are looking for bandwidth contrat based on SSID (Maximum bandwidth utilization for Guest SSID is 10 Mbps, its a shared bandwidth for all connected users).

In that case I would suspect you need to configure this under the User Role, so apply a bandwidth contract on a Per Role basis so that the Max Limit is 10Mbps per User Role not Per User.

Correct, this will be the role that the user is assigned after any form of authentication. Don't forget to test it :)
