Hello Airheads =]
I would like to ask the community how you are currently using the High Availability feature on the Aruba 3200 switches. I would like the ability to have fail over and redundancy with minimal impact to the clients.
Here is my Current Setup:
1) Two Aruba 3200 Controllers using Layer 3 on both switches.
2) VLAN Gateway Interfaces live on the controllers, i.e. 10.10.10.1, 10.10.11.1, etc.
3) I'm using static routes for the wireless VLAN subnets on the neighbor switch. i.e. ip route 10.10.10.10 255.255.255.0 (controller A IP)
What is the best way to configure the static routes on the LAN after configuring HA Dual?
ip route 10.10.10.10 255.255.255.0 (controller A IP)
ip route 10.10.10.10 255.255.255.0 (controller B IP)
Then add a DHCP option for both VLAN GW's for each subnet? i.e.
10.10.10.1
10.10.10.2
What is the best practice when configuring HA Dual and using Layer 3 on the Aruba 3200?
Thanks.
