Branch reference design question

Hello - I am beginning on a pilot project to test Branch office connectivity on the Aruba platform.  I have 2x651's and a RAP-5WN in which to test this.  FYI - once 651 is master, the other a local.

I am following through he Validated reference design document, which might be old and leads me to my first question!

The document references RN-Code or remote network code base which appears to be 3.4 based.  Is this special code base really needed or should I configure it with 6.1 regular code base and ignore the RN-code references.

Its really unclear to me if I need to or if its just how the Architecture doc was designed.

Re: Branch reference design question

The RN (Remote Networking) code is a legacy code.   In version 5.x and higher it has been merged with the core code train so you can ignore the RN designation.
