    Hello,

I´m trying to understand why fordward-mode bridge is not avaliable on the web interface (blank). At the CLI is working perfectly.

    wlan ssid-profile "01"
        essid "01"
        opmode wpa2-aes

    wlan virtual-ap "01"
        aaa-profile "01"
        vlan 2972
        forward-mode bridge
        ssid-profile "01"

Also, there are SSIDs on CLI that are no present on Web interface.

Bridge SSIDs are deprecated on controllers and can only be configured through CLI for backward compatibility reasons.

This is a capture from a 8.2.1.0 VMC that shows bridge mode available through web GUI.

    gvala,

Did you change anythging on VMC that would have changed this behavior?

I have installed 3 time (including PoCs) and got the same issue. No bridge mode. Just on CLI.

Just upgraded from 8.2.0.2. Nothing else.

This option shows up when i tried to edit the WLAN. The drop down menu has four options: Tunneled, unencrypted tunnel, bridged and split-tunnel.

I don't know what happens if i try to create a new WLAN because in this case I get a message that says that a PEF license is needed to add a WLAN

    I´ve just upgraded the VMC.

Creating a WLAN requires a PEF license. Please verify that PEF license is installed and active

Is PEF license required for creating WLAN? Is thar right?

I thought LIC-AP would be enough.

    @Herman Robers

    Hi Herman,

I hadn't heard of that so went to chec some release notes.

    From the AOS 8.2.1.0 RN:

"Support for WLAN Forwarding Mode Options
Starting from ArubaOS 8.2.1.0, new options, Split-Tunnel and Bridge, are added to the Forwarding mode drop-down list in the WLANs > General
    page."

Can I conclude that bridge will still be supported going forward?  Or are we talking about something different here?

Could you check and comment please?
