Building mesh link with AP85TX and AP175.

    Hi 

     

    we have a task, but not sure if we can make it work. 

     

    Is it possible to build a mesh link between AP85TX and AP175. assuming we have an right legacy antenna on AP85TX and 2x2 n-rated  antenna on AP175.

    You could in theory, but they would negotiate to legacy, non-802.11n rates.

     

    Why you would not:

     

    - the AP85TX is end of life, so the supportability of that solution would be in question.

    - the link would be more unpredictable and have less resilience than if you use an AP175 on both ends

    - I would not do this.
