    Hi,

Recently I've been doing some testing regarding Rogue APs and part of the test is, I try plugging a "Rogue" AP into the wired side of the network, physically, I was able to ping to that AP via the controller. However, the controller itself doesn't detect this rogue AP. I Search throughout the document and online, what I found is AP being detected only wirelessly, I just want to confirm if this can be done? Detecting Rogue through wired side of the network.

    Thank in advance

Is there another access point on the same wired subnet as the rogue? That is how it would be detected.
