Can RAPs connect to interfaces not associated with the master-redundancy vlan?

As it says, if we want some/all APs to be provisionined with another interface of only one of the redundant master controllers, will this work?

Put another way, can APs connect to any interface of a master controller, not just the VIP connecting to the backup?
