Capacity vs Coverage

    Is there a way to set Airwave to report access points with too many clients? Some locations require more capacity and it would be beneficial to us to identify these locations in order to plan for growth.

    Yes...you can set an Airwave client count trigger:

    The best way to do this in my opinion is to look at "RF Capacity" dashboard within Airwave.

     

    That looks at channel utilization, rather than client count.  Remember, all clients are NOT created equal in terms of loading to your network.

     

    If you look at the RF Capacity Graph you will see APs/Radios in the 'red zone'... those are the ones you want to consider supplementing density around very soon.
