Central licensing

    My home setup:
    1 x 650-8 as master running 6.4.3.6
    1 x 3200-us-8 as local running 6.4.3.6
    The 3200 has extra licenses. Central licensing is setup. The licenses are put into the pool on the master. So far so good.

    As my understanding the licenses will be in the pool until 30 days after loosing the connection to the local. In my setup the pooled licenses are gone after several hours.

    If there a minimal runtime of the local needed?

    Do you mean gone from the master or gone from the local?

    Platforms that have built in licenses, those licenses are never shared (they would only appear on the local controller)....but you probably already know that..

    Hi Colin,

    It is the master that lost the licenses from the pool several hours after the local went down.
    Today after 12 hours they are still in the license pool. Maybe it will work okay now.

    My understanding was correct regarding the 30 days?
