Centralized licensing error

    Centralized licensing error : Aruba 7000 series controller running 6.3.1.8 master controller has 800 ap licenses master controller has used 736 licenses backup controller has 90 licenses only master goes down backup is up as MASTER now Backup controller now shows 1536(800+736) licenses Is it a bug?

    Centralized licensing error :


    Aruba 7000 series controller running 6.3.1.8
    master controller has 800 ap licenses
    master controller has used 736 licenses
    backup controller has 90 licenses only
     
    master goes down
     
    backup is up as MASTER now shows 1536(800+736) licenses.

    Can you please provide screenshot of License management page from webUI of Master (before failover) and Standby Master (after failover)? 

     

    Go to: Configuration -> Network -> Controller -> Centralized License Management -> Information.

     

    How many controllers do you have in total? Two (Master - Standby Master)?

    You are right, AP count doesn't look right. You should open a TAC case and get to the bottom of this.
