The AP appears to have been provisioned in the "default" ap-group, which I suspect is using AM-Mode in the Radio profiles. You will need to either change the AP mode within Radio Profiles or re-provision the AP to a different ap-group where the AP's are configured to use AP mode.

    Hi zalion,

You're right. My 228 AP have been provisioned in the "default" ap-group, but i have a  question that why after provision, only 228 model have been changed to Air Monitor while 325 model still is AP mode

    Thanks for help.

Are they both in the default ap-group? What is the regulatory domain of of the AP228 set on the default group? Are you able to provide the output of the below?

    #show ap database
#show log all | include XXXX (wired MAC of AP)

Thanks, if you don’t know the regulatory domain of the AP (you’ll be able to find this under the sap-group) could you let us know the country where the AP is installed?

Please also run the following command

    show ap allowed-channels country-code ap-type 325

Can you confirm which DRT you are running? It seems that the 228 in Vietnam is supported from DRT 1.0_61955 onwards.

    Thanks Zalion,

My DRT version is 1.0_58653, it lower than 1.0_61955. It may be one of the reasons that my ap is moved to AM mode.

I will upgrate it with new DRT version and hope it work.

    Many Thanks

    Hi,

From the output of 228 is not support this.

Please try to change regulatory domain profile to another country.

Configuration > Wireless > AP Configuration > AP Group > AP  > Regulatory Domain then you will see Country Code.

I recommend you to create new AP group and move one of 228 to here then following above.

    Cheer up!!!

Use this command for check compatible of AP model "show ap allowed-channels country-code <country-code> ap-type 228"
