Client Name

    I am using a controller and PSK authentication.  When clients show up in AMP, it just shows their mac address.  Is there a way to add a name to that mac so that I see a friendly name whenever they connect?  Also, I see a "notes" section under device info.  How do you get something into that field?  Changing to .1x or using ClearPass is not an option.  I am looking for a way to just add a user readable name in Airwave.

    What about for non windows machines?  I set that and then connected an ipad, iphone and macbook and none of them show a name.  I am doing DHCP from an ASA, so maybe that is an issue?  Is there a way to manually set a name in Airwave?  That would be fine by me.  6.5.1.1 on a 7005 with 225 APs.

    Not all devices present a hostname to the network.
