Client did not complete EAP transaction

    We are testing failover to the secondary radius server with clearpass

    when failover to the secondary radius server, 802.1x was not successful and went to mac authentication
    error in clearpass show - Client did not complete EAP transaction

    we set this secondary server as the primary server with no backup no problem is seen

    Did you issue a radius server certificate to BOTH the primary and backup radius server?

    Thank you for the information. I am sorry but did not understand what is "radius server certificate". How i can do that? thanks

    You said you are testing failover to the secondary radius server.  Do you mean failover to the secondary controller?
