We are currently using a controller with 6 associated AP's. One of our SSID's uses 802.1x and authenticates clients using the internaldb on the controller. We are wanting to limit the amount of concurrent devices that a user can have on at any time. Is there a way to do this? Any help would be appreciated!

You would need an external RADIUS server that can handle session accounting.

    Thanks for the response!

I have noticed that under the "User Roles" there is an option to restrict "Max Sessions".

Would this not do what I am looking to achieve?

No. That limits the number of sessions tor each client device.

    Ok, thanks for your help.

Are you able to recommend a product?

    Aruba ClearPass is generally recommended.
