I'm currently deploying a Master Local design for a client for 32 APs,

On the controller i have 32 UP , but later most of the go DOWN on the controller.

I know it's a license issue because i have 34 AP license and 10 PEF license aggregated on the controller.

I know the controller would use the least license with is 10.

I don't understand why it would use 20 at a time, while the rest continues in a bootloop.

Please refer to the attached out to understand and help.

    Thank you

The screen shot shows the licenses available from the centralized license server perspective. What licenses are installed on the individual local controllers?

    COntroller 2 Local(Aruba 7005) : 10 AP Licenses

                                                             10 PEF Licenses

                                                             10 RF Licenses

Definitely strange. I suggest contacting TAC so they can capture more information about that scenario.

    Hi

Out of ‘sync’ licenses (unequal numbers) can cause strange behavior.

What happens if you only run with the LIC-AP, so delete the PEF and RFPROT licenses.

Or temporarily install a trail license for PEF and RFPROT to see if that fixes it.

    Hope it helps
