We recently updated to OS 6.1.3.1 on our 3600 controllers.  We started realizing that the controllers will randomly stop responding. Not responding to pings or remote access.  During production ours the fastest fix was to reboot.  This has happened to us about 4 times and we think it is associated to an AP being unplugged anywhere on the network.  The setup is Master/Standby and we have about 120 AP (AP 125s).  We think if someone unplugs an AP anywhere on the network ( accidentally or just physically rebooting) this causes the controllers to stop responding.  Our Sr. Engineer makes us reboot the controllers right away so we have not had a chance to console to see if we can figure out the problem.  I am wondering if anyone  has seen this problem before or has any ideas what it can be.

Very unusual.  You probably need to put a console on the controller permanently so that when it happens you can record the ouput.  Beyond that, you should open a support case so they can look at your logs and topology and start working on it.
