Simple newb question, in a controller based scenario, say one controller and 10 APs, for roaming to work, does  the APs have to see one another (does each AP have to see via RF atleast one other AP)?

The client needs to be able to see two access points at a time for smooth roaming. If a client can only see a single AP there will be a disconnection of connectivity until it can see another one...

What about from the APs perspective?  If the AP see no neighbors, how does it know who to hand it off to?  Thinking about it, the AP doesnt care, it gets its order from the controller.

The client makes all roaming decisions. The AP can influence it somewhat but the client ultimately makes the decision about where to go.
