If I have some AP's like 105's and 275's on an older controller and I am migrating to a new controlller.  Can I just change the VLAN on the port and reboot the AP's so that they can get the new IP's and new Option 43?  They should then join the new controller.

Or do I need to do factory reset on these?

You can change the VLAN.  If the new controller shares the same subnet as the access points, the access points should find them using a broadcast UNLESS, you statically provisioned them to the first controller.

Thank you no we created a separate subnet for the new controller as well as the AP's.  So I'm thinking that the AP's should reboot, get the new IP, get the new controller info from option 43 and join the new controller?

    It should, yes.
