    Dear All,

    I have two Aruba Controller:

    • Aruba3600: OS version is 6.0.2.1.
    • Aruba620: OS version is 5.0.2.0.

Now, I want to upgrade the Aruba620 OS version from 5.0.2.0 to 6.0.2.1.

I've plan the step as below:

    1. Download the ArubaOS 6.0.2.1 from Aruba3600 via tftp.

    2. Upload the ArubaOS 6.0.2.1 into Aruba620.

    3. Setting ArubaOS 6.0.2.1 as default OS.

    4. reload Aruba620.

     Is that right?

    Has anyone done this before?

it is not possible because the software for the 6xx and 3xxx series is different right? or is it not possible at all? also not between two identical controllers seriewise?

It is not possible, because the software is different AND the copy command does not allow copying from a controller's flash partition to the image partition of another controller.

    Thanks for bringing that up.
