DFS Channels in dorm rooms?

Hi:

I'm planning a high density install in a college dorm building according to the VRF on this topic.

What are your thoughts on using the DFS channels? Is anyone doing this? What kind of results have you had.

The 9 available 5Ghz channels are probably enough, but 22 would be even better.

Thanks,

Tony7

Re: DFS Channels in dorm rooms?

I have many customers running DFS channels. Device support is very good these days and devices that don't support it will fall back to 2.4.

Thanks,
Tim

Re: DFS Channels in dorm rooms?

is there an exhaustive list of devices that shows which channels are supported?
