DFS with 802.11ac

Hi All,

I'm looking for some advice in relation to using DFS with VHT80 channel groups.

If a DFS event detects radar on a channel which is a member of a VHT80 group, does the whole group get excluded from operation or will the radios just switch to VHT40/20 (whatever is appropriate)?

Also is DFS exclusion of a  channel a time based process (i.e. will ARM allow reuse of that channel after a predetermined period of no radar detection ) or does it exclude the channel permanently until manually overridden?

It will switch to a new non-dfs 80 Mhz channel block available , the APs will inform all the devices about the change (which take approximately 10 seconds)

It will reuse those channels after 30 minutes if there's no radar detection

Thank you
