    By default when you create a new DHCP pool it doesn't set a lease time unless you define it , from the GUI you can set it up from Network > IP > DHCP > Add or Edit the DHCP pool

    And from the CLI :

    (controller) (config) #ip dhcp pool Test
    (controller) (config-dhcp)#
    (controller) (config-dhcp)#lease ?
    <days> Configure DHCP lease days(0-49709)

    Another important thing you should take in mind is that the limit is 512 you just can have 512 leases ont he DHCP server on aruba.  Thats from the release 6.1.3.x   But even if you running an older version you should not pass that limit.

    Cheers

    I had a similar question and from what I am seeing, the answer is 12 hours. If you do nothing, don't define a lease time, you are given a 12 hour lease.

    show ip dhcp bind

    lease 172.20.99.254 {

         starts Mon Jul 21 04:44:36 2014

         ends Mon Jul 21 16:44:36 2014

         binding state active;

         next binding state free;

         hardware ethernet a4:eb:d3:**:**:**;

         uid "\001\244\353\323\343\253\331";
