Dedicated subnet for access points?

We currently have a dedicated /24 subnet for our APs at each site. We have anywhere from 5 to 15 APs per site. I have heard that it is better to have the access points in the same subnet as the clients PCs.

Any suggestions either way? (I realize that from an addressing standpoint we are underutilizing the /24 but that is not much of a concern.)

    Thanks.

You should mix your APs with clients for better rogue detection.

The APs are able to see traffic on the wire to make MAC OUI correlations to rogue access points.

as the question is answered im sure no one will mind my hijack.

do you feel the same for IAPs, would you also place those with clients?
