Re: Default gateway of the clients

That information is only stored on the client.

Re: Default gateway of the clients

Okay figured that out my running config has the below:

(Instant AP)(config)# ip dhcp <profile-name>

(Instant AP)(DHCP Profile <profile-name>)# server-type <local>

(Instant AP)(DHCP Profile <profile-name>)# server-vlan <vlan-ID>

(Instant AP)(DHCP Profile <profile-name>)# subnet <IP-address>

(Instant AP)(DHCP Profile <profile-name>)# subnet-mask <subnet-mask>

(Instant AP)(DHCP Profile <profile-name>)# dns-server <name>

(Instant AP)(DHCP Profile <profile-name>)# domain-name <domain-name>

(Instant AP)(DHCP Profile <profile-name>)# lease-time <seconds>

(Instant AP)(DHCP Profile <profile-name>)# option <type> <value>

(Instant AP)(DHCP Profile <profile-name>)# end

So figured out , that my network is in local vpn between iap and controller. Thanks again

Re: Default gateway of the clients

It is not straightforward.  Routing and DHCP decide the flow of traffic.

Here is the training video for IAP-VPN  http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Video/Instant-Training-Module-9-Virtual-Private-Network-VPN/ta-p/289951
