    Hey..

    Can someone tell which version of L2TP is used by Aruba RAPs ? Version 2 or Version 3? My customers often complain about frequent disconnections on the Aruba RAP and the phone connecting to the Aruba RAP gets reset. All network checks are verified normal. While the customers often say their internet connection is good and able to work normally over web based VPN without any issues. How can we ensure stable IPSEC/L2TP Vpn connection on Aruba RAP? Is there a way we can set or increase the keepalive timer?

    Try to lower your MTU to 1500 or to 1460/1492

    if more info regarding your l2tp needed , run this command:

    show l2tpv3 tunnel

    show l2tpv3 tunnel {config | status}

    Description

    This command displays the L2TP tunnel status and configuration details.

    Usage Guidelines

    Use this command to view the tunnel connectivity status and configuration details.

    Praneeth,

    We need to know more about your specific deployment because it could be a number of factors. The solution to your issue could differ depending on the site.

    What version of ArubaOS?
    What access point?
    What is the bandwidth at the headend and local site?
    Are all users in the same layer 2 network? How many? Do they share the same layer 2 network with wired users at the headend?

    How long has this been happening?
