Does Aruba controller (acting as internal DHCP server) support Option 43?

[ Edited ]

Hi,

We want the dhcp server to use for ip-touch however the controller not  pushing the option 43 when it is configured as internal DHCP server.

On the user guide we were able to see the configuring option 43 only on the windows DHCP server.

Please let us know whether the DHCP option 43 will work when controller act as internal dhcp server?

Thank you in advance.

Yes it does.

Screenshot from AOS 6.2.1.X: (Be aware the internal DHCP above version AOS 6.1 limited to only 512 leases)

 Configuration>Network>IP>DHCP> There you go  :smileyhappy:

Are there limited options that can be applied or is it just a text string sent back to the client?  (i'm new to dhcp servers)

Customer is wanting to apply options 161 and 162 for Wyse boxes...

what do you mean with limited options?

according to this document 161/162 are both strings and the Aruba controller seems to support that:
