Does the 3400 controller support the 802.11ac protocol ? I can't find any definite info on Site

    The 3400 can run current version of SW that is needed to support the 802.11ac APs.   So, yes, the 3x00 series does support .11ac.   Some of the newer features, however, are not supported by the 3x00 series.  If you are looking at new controllers you may want to look at the 7000 series.

    My customer already has a 3400 controller and about 20 APs  -- they may add another 20 or so --

    I will have to position the 7200 ...  what features will the customer NOT be able to use with their current controller --thanks!

    Yes...it will support the AP225 and the AP205.  However, keep in mind the throughput limitations on the controllers at scale...
