I just got hold of a Aruba 7205 controller. I need to download the ArubaOS to 6.4.2.3.

    The controller come with 6.4.3.1.

I tried to upload the 6.4.2.3 to partition 0, and reboot. The controller keep on reloading after reboot.

When I change the boot partiontion to partition 1, the controller boot up and gave me an alarm message of

"Ancillary image stored on flash is not for this release"

Is that possible for me to downgrade the software? What is the procedure to do it?

    regards,

    Wilson

The lowest supported release for the 7205 is 6.4.3.1. It cannot be downgraded.

and further to what Tim wrote, you would be better to upgrade all to 6.4.3.5 rather than upgrading others to match the 7205 on 6.4.3.1 (which is quite old now for 6.4.3.x train)
