    Hey Guys,

    I have a RAP 109 that has the E Flag ( Domain Regulatrory mis-match )

Does anyone know why this happens? Or how i can get rid of the E flag ?

It was working last week with no issues, now all of a sudden it is not working and has the E flag when i look it up on the controller.

    Any help MUCH appreciated.

    Thanks

When it was an IAP, what regulatory domain was it?  Now that it is a RAP what regulatory domain is t now?

What version of ArubaOS is the controller running?

    chewbacca,

Does the IAP-109 have a sticker with the model number on the back?  What does it say?

There is a sticker on the back, the only thing relating to a model number is just that it says RAP-109

    Chewbacca,

When you first brought it up in instant mode, did you set the regulatory domain to IN?

Yes, i would have set it to IN as thats where the RAP is located.

Should it be changed to US?

    Chewbacca,

It should absolutely work.  You might want to open a support case so that they can look at your logs.

    Hi,

There can one reason, check the ap's regulatory domain profile that you have mapped,

I just replicated your issue and here is the output,

    (Aruba3200) #show ap database

    AP Database
    -----------
Name Group AP Type IP Address Status Flags Switch IP Standby IP
    ---- ----- ------- ---------- ------ ----- --------- ----------
    24:de:c6:c3:96:21 TestLab 105 172.16.10.150 Up 1h:50m:11s 172.16.0.254 0.0.0.0
    24:de:c6:c6:36:e4 default 135 172.16.10.4 Down 172.16.0.254 0.0.0.0
    9c:1c:12:cb:12:02 TestGP RAP-109 10.1.1.12 Up 14m:39s Rc2E 172.16.0.254 0.0.0.0

I believe issue is also same as highlighted.

Put the following command and check the country code that you have selected.

in this example I have choosen country code(regulatory-domain-profile) as US and the controller countrycode as IN.

if your case also same please change it to IN.

    (Aruba3200) #show ap regulatory-domain-profile default

    Regulatory Domain profile "default"
    -----------------------------------
    Parameter Value
    --------- -----
    Country Code US
    Valid 802.11g channel 1
    Valid 802.11g channel 6
    Valid 802.11g channel 11

    (Aruba3200) #show country

    Country:IN
    Model:Aruba3200
    Hardware:Unrestricted

Hope this will help you on fixing the issue :)

Please feel free to comeback for any furhter assistance.

    Cheers,

    Venu Puduchery.
