Re: Error trying to upgrade 7220 to 6.3.1.2

I assume you're coming from 6.2.0.0 or somewhere around there?  Please use SSH/CLI to upgrade.  This is a bug...resolved in a later release.

From the CLI

copy TFTP: <IP of TFTP server> <filename>  system: partition: <0 or 1>

Re: Error trying to upgrade 7220 to 6.3.1.2

Hi,

Please refer the release notes. CLI upgrade method.

I used usb method, its pretty simple.

1) Use the copy command to load the new image onto the non-boot partition:
(hostname)# copy ftp: <ftphost> <ftpusername> <image filename> system: partition <0|1>
or
(hostname)# copy tftp: <tftphost> <image filename> system: partition <0|1>
or
(hostname)# copy scp: <scphost> <scpusername> <image filename> system: partition <0|1>
or
(hostname)# copy usb: partition <partition-number> <image filename> system: partition <0|1>
The USB option is only available on the 7200 Series controllers.
2)  Execute the show image version command to verify the new image is loaded:
(hostname)# show image version
3)  Reboot the controller:
(hostname)# reload
